This service is available to an experienced contact lens wearer who is able to insert and remove lenses on their own.
We convert your eyeglass prescription to your contact lens prescription, check your visual acuity with lenses inserted, and make alterations if needed. We also assess the fitting of the lens on your eye to ensure your lens is in the correct position and has proper movement to prevent any ocular health issues. A current up to date eyeglass prescription is required.
This appointment is allotted 30 minutes.
This service is necessary for first time contact lens wearers. During this appointment we will teach you how to insert and remove your lenses confidently. We prioritize your safety, you must be able to do this on their own before leaving the office with the trials. The Optician will teach you about contact lens safety, hygiene, contact lens care including types of contact solutions.
This appointment is allotted 60 minutes, unless you are unable to insert and remove the contacts during the appointment, a required follow up appointment must be scheduled to complete the lesson. This additional appointment is at no charge.
Contact Lens Trials (one set of trial lenses for bi-weekly or monthly lenses and a 5-10 day supply for daily lenses. *If adjustments are required one more set of lenses would be supplied at no cost)
6 Month Follow Up (Includes any follow ups for concerns prior to the follow up)
We cannot fill a contact lens prescription without doing a contact lens fitting even if you are a previous wearer. For liability reasons and for your own safety we need to ensure that your lenses are the correct prescription (this can vary from your eyeglass prescription), your visual acuity is at the legal requirement for things like driving a motor vehicle and ensure the lens is fitting properly to prevent any ocular health issues.
